STAR Smog Check
STAR Test & Repair Stations are authorized to perform STAR smog inspections, as well as repair and certify all vehicles. STAR certified smog checks are monitored closely by the Bureau of Automotive Repairs. If your vehicle is chosen to get a STAR smog check, it may be completely random, it may be because your vehicle has been flagged as a potential high emitter or gross polluter.
